Almost certainly a gimbal lamp from a White Star Line vessel and possibly RMS Olympic, as there is no burgee stamped on the counterbalance weight or the circular base. A lot of WSL ship's silver-plated items in 1911 were manufactured without the logo.
Shield weight on wishbone supports on baluster column and domed circular foot.
Manufactured by S. Perry & Co and as with other WSL global lamps the reg no. Is 654855.
This is an absolute bargain.
A rare, highly collectible artefact and a great investment.
