Violet Jessop is one of Titanic's most recognised characters for all the wrong reasons and yet, one of the luckiest!
Violet Constance Jessop (2 October 1887 5 May 1971) was an Irish-Argentine ocean liner stewardess and Voluntary Aid Detachment nurse in the early 20th century. Jessop is best known for having survived the sinking of both RMS Titanic in 1912 and her sister ship, HMHS Britannic in 1916, as well as having been aboard the eldest of the three sister ships, Olympic, when she collided with the British warship HMS Hawke, in 1911.
Following the Titanic disaster, Violet wore a brooch to commemorate the tragedy. This stunning 'In Memory Of Titanic' authentic replica is extremely rare, so grab this whilst you can!
