This is a limited edition (01/1494), boxed RMS Titanic Commemorative spoon with a certificate, which was signed by Millvina Dean and Simon & Nigel Price..
"A unique opportunity to purchase the cutlery as used by the select affluent passengers dining at the Captain's table on the fateful night of the sinking of the RMS Titanic on 15th April 1912. Hand forged and polished, using the pattern modelled from the same dies as used by the White Star Line for the RMS Titanic in 1912. The original dies were an exciting, recent discovery, lying in the cellar vaults of Arthur Price of England, who are now proud to be able to fully reproduce these most significant and unique items in the hope that they will inspire interest and give pleasure to future users for generations to come".
The spoon has the signature of Millvina Dean (the youngest survivor on the RMS Titanic) engraved in the bowl with the White Start Line flag and 'TITANIC' engraved on the reverse. The spoon is 16 cm long with the bowl being hand forged out of 18/10 highest quality stainless steel and is silver plated.
Still boxed and in as-new condition, this is a highly collectible item and a great investment!
