This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire an original piece of glass from RMS Olympic.
This section of glass, came from a 1st class A deck window from RMS Olympic, which had been installed in Haltwhistle paint factory in Northumberland in the 1935 after the vessel was scrapped at Jarrows and was then sold again at a sale of Olympics fixtures and fittings in 2004 by Ocean Liner Auctions, Steve Booth..
The window has just been restored at considerable cost and the broken pane removed.( see photos )
It has been framed onto plinth, using all original Olympic wood and has an 'aged' description on the front.
measuring 21cm in length by 26cm in height.
