This beautiful, rare postcard was issued in 1898 and was a promotional card most likely sold on board, advertising the White Star Line's flagship, until the introduction of RMS Oceanic the following year.
The postcard is in excellent unused condition with only minor corner bumps. An incredibly rare postcard!
RMS Majestic entered service in 1890 and was the sister ship of RMS Teutonic. Majestic and her sister were the flagships of White Star Line's fleet for around a decade, until Oceanic entered service in 1899. Her career spanning 24 years ended when she was sold to the Thomas Ward yard for £25,000 and scrapped in May 1914.
