Original RMS Olympic à la carte restaurant Refit Dining Chair

These magnificent chairs (two available) were used exclusively in the à la carte restaurant on board RMS Olympic. Following the success of the original restaurant, the same facility abord Titanic was extended and after the tragedy, Olympic was recalled to her builders for a refit. Subsequently, her à la carte restaurant was extended and these chairs are from the consignment added. Only a handful of the chairs from Olympic have survived the passage of time, so this is a wonderful investment opportunity.

The chair was originally upholstered in a floral silk material which no doubt, wore away many years ago and was recovered in this lovely, harder wearing fabric making the chair still fully usable.
