Original RMS Olympic 2nd Class Deck ('Steamer') Chair

This is an original White Star Line 'steamer' chair from RMS Olympic and as it has the wooden slats seat, is most likely from the second class promenade deck.

What makes this chair extra-special is that it still bears the green paint from the ships' last refit, when this colour was in vogue. Even the ship's spectacular 1st class Grand Staircase was painted this colour!

The top bar bears the carved 5-pointed star company logo and the original brass ticket holder. 

Purchased by us at auction in Southampton in 2002, the deck chair has been part of White Star Memories' exhibition archive and was featured in 'Imagine Exhibitions' shows in Moscow, Riga (Latvia) & Perth (Australia).

This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire an iconic item from Titanic's identical twin sister and is a guaranteed investment!!
