Following the announcement by Australian billionaire, Clive Palmer, that he was going to build a fully operational 'TITANIC II', his company, the Blue Star Line, commissioned shipping construction company Delta Marine to conduct model tests and produce plans for the new ship.
In 2013, Palmer staged a series of high-profile dinners around the world to raise awareness of this $ multi-million project and White Star Memories Ltd were invited to attend two of these extravagant events (in London and Southampton), following preliminary discussions about staging an exhibition on board the new vessel for the 'Maiden Voyage'.
During the evening at the Science Museum in London, this plan was auctioned to raise money for the 'The Mission to Seafarer's' charity (formerly known as the 'Seaman's Mission') and we were thrilled to secure this actual plan, which compares the original RMS Titanic to the proposed new ship.
The plan is beautifully framed & mounted and was personally signed by Clive Palmer.
Since 2014, the plan has displayed around the world by Imagine Exhibitions', 'Titanic - The Exhibition', sponsored by National Geographic and seen by millions of people.
This is a unique opportunity to acquire this incredible artefact and although now five years late, there are still rumours that the ship could be built. Either way, this is a guaranteed investment opportunity!
