This oval vegetable dish was made for the White Star Line by Elkington Plate in Birmingham in 1922 (date letter 'K') and is in overall good condition, with just a few minor dings, commensurate with age.
It is decorated with the company's 'Reed & Star' pattern around the rim and the White Star Line burgee on the side, with the letters 'E.M'. which indicate the dish may have been used in the Engineer's Mess and the hallmarks are clear on the base.
A superb addition to any growing collection and at a bargain price!
